In my quest to have super fast websites for clients, I tend to over engineer the site.
I recently implemented NGINX Page Caching Method and Redis Object Cache on a website. This is a WordPress multisite so imagine the complication!
GTmetrix page speed performance was at 91% but I wanted it to be 99%. Now, I am scrambling to fix errors. It honestly doesn’t need these caching methods as I use CloudFlare. And the dedicated server is a beast!
Oh well, time to revert back to the previous backup!
Note to self: simplify. Don’t over engineer. Save your time!
