Trust your gut

I just saw a post on X from Sahil Bloom, and it instantly reminded me of how many times my gut pointed me in the right direction.

It’s something so profound that it deserves a closer look. I think we all know that feeling—when your body tells you a decision feels right, or when something just feels off. It’s like your body knows ahead of time. Like it knows what’s right even before your mind catches up.

Malcolm Gladwell’s book Blink talks about this. I remember one story where art experts could tell a piece was fake just by looking at it—before any scans or formal assessments. They just knew.

In any case, I’ve learned to trust my gut—that split-second feeling you can’t explain, but somehow always seems to know.
