Simplify aggressively

I think a lot of problems can be avoided if you simplify aggressively. Whether it is in business or in your personal life, simplicity can be the cure.

I know of business owners who are constantly stressed because they have not developed a system where the business runs without them. And the reason why they have not developed a system is because their processes are complicated.

How do you simplify a business? Focus on where the bulk of the revenue is. Develop a system that would generate that revenue. Outsource other processes to experts. It might cost more to outsource, but it might be worth it if it leads to less stress and management.

In life, I think simplifying aggressively means cutting everything that doesn’t serve your purpose. Find what you want and just focus on that. Ignore the noise. Don’t play status games. Don’t try to impress people who don’t pay your bills. Focus on a few things daily.
